The delight and allure of the sun
A sunny Alpine-Mediterranean climate, with some regional influences: this is the best way to describe the Naz-Sciaves plateau with its lovely apple orchards. On a summer holiday in Naz-Sciaves, you can enjoy long sunny days and mild evenings, inviting you to stay outdoors and admire the splendid sunsets. But summer is not the only wonderful time; indeed, all the seasons almost seem more beautiful here than anywhere else. In spring, the 270 hectares of orchards come back to life in a mass of white and pale pink blossom, stretching as far as the eye can see. And autumn, contrary to what you might expect, is not just dull and hazy, but rather a patchwork of warm colours that make you eager for new experiences. It's time for the apples and grapes to be harvested in Rasa and Novacella, and the farmhouses in the area open their doors to celebrate the joyful festival of "Törggelen", offering new wine and roast chestnuts. And what about winter? It's like something out of a fairy tale...
