The vast plateau lies in the heart of the Isarco valley. Naz is the ideal starting point to reach the nearby skiing areas.
Six skiing resorts: Plose/S. Andrea, Maranza/Gitschberg, Valles/Jochtal, Plan de Corones, Monte Cavallo and Racines are not farer then 30 km, with their demanding downhill pistes, children's playgrounds, and rustic huts, cross-country skiing tracks, toboggan runs, and possibilities of snow-shoe hikes. The free-of-charge skibus takes you to the Plose, the skiing mountain of Bressanone, or to the Gitschberg and into the Jochtal at the very entrance to the Val Pusteria.

You can feel the magic of the Advent and Christmas seasons visiting one of the five original South Tyrolean Christmas markets. The Christmas market of Bressanone is only distant 7 km from Naz/Sciaves.
