A cordial welcome in Naz/Sciaves in South Tyrol!

Spending a holiday with us means to enjoy relaxing and varied days in the middle of apple orchards and an intact nature. A mediterranean climate shapes the landscape, offering a stunning mountain panorama all around with wooded slopes and a beautiful view on to the cultural town of Bresssanone.

Naz:
There is no way of passing-by Naz/Sciaves. In the middle of apple orchards, lying between an altitude from 750 to 890 meters, there nestles the mountain plateau of Naz/Sciaves with the five tidy villages Naz, Sciaves, Rasa, Aica and Viums.
Easily accessible, our holiday area in the heart of the Isarco valley, is the ideal starting point for excursions to the nearer and farer environs: for example Bressanone, Bolzano, Merano, the Dolomites or the Garda lake – the world lies at your feet.
Naz is surrounded by innumerable apple orchards, a magic sight of white-pink fragrant smelling blossoms in spring, and overburdened with juicy apples in autumn.
The tidy village of Naz with app. 650 inhabitants lies on an altitude of 890 m in the heart of this plateau.
In addition to a variety of juicy apples as Golden Delicious, Jonathan, ecc., in the south there are wine growing plantations producing the very tasty and famous white grapes of "Müller Thurgau" and "Sylvaner".

Although the population in this area does't live exclusively from farming anymore, the villages have kept their rural character, showing magnificent farmhouses with their balconies full of flowers. You will feel at once that this people are rooted in their traditions still full of life, mysterious, but most of all hearty and warm.
Listen to the lively marches of the band, or join the celebrations of the King's Festival, the village festivals, processions, the coronation ceremony of the Apple Queen, ... here you still find a very lively rural tradition. Everything looks so intimate, anonymity is unknown because everybody knows everybody! This people, living in the middle of the apple plateau, is a genial and good-natured kind.
